Years ago, a friend cooked me Teriyaki Noodles by Knorr and I hated them. I was like dude, I love teriyaki noodles! What have you done?!? How could these be bad? Welp here’s why, we were children who didn’t know a dang thing about cooking or seasoning, I am surprised we didn’t burn the house down trying to boil water.
I am not sure if there was too much water, not enough water, they cooked too long no idea. A few years later I was out on my own, I was BROKE and living off of ramen noodles. I thought I would give the teriyaki noodles a try on my own, after all they were 10 for $1.00 at my local grocery store and again I was BROKE.
I was 100% determined to doctor these suckers up to make them taste better. Well, I managed to knock my socks right off. I lived off these suckers for years! Fast forward a decade or so and I made Stella try them. She was convinced they were going to be awful. Fast forward some years later and we eat these bad boys several times a month. It’s so easy and it’s so delicious!
Ingredients:
- Knorr Asian Sides: Teriyaki Noodles – 4.6 oz Bags
- Water – 1 1/2 Cup
- Hidden Valley Ranch
– 1/4 Cup
- Parmesan Cheese – 1/4 Cup
- Cashews – To Garnish
No joke, I can have dinner done in under 10 minutes. I prefer my noodles a little al dente, Stella always ends up nuking her’s for a minute or so after it’s cooled down. It took me longer to load and unload the dishwasher than it did to prepare this quick meal.
Directions:
- Bring water to a boil.
- Add Noodles.
- Let noodles cook for 3 – 5 minutes.
- Add Ranch.
- Stir.
- Add Parmesan Cheese
- Stir.
- Serve.
