Stella and I love to share our home with our friends and family. Several times a year we host a few special events. Every year my sisters and I host a Halloween party at our older sisters house as well. We’ve been throwing this party for over a decade, costumes are required.
Every great Halloween party needs some good pumpkins. So I gathered some of my siblings together to carve some pumpkins for our party.
For dinner we served Taco Soup (Insert Recipe here), Raspberry Chipotle Chicken Chili – GF* & Easy Corn Mac – GF*. We also tossed a couple of yard birds on the grill.
After the food was in the oven for baking and Stella manning the grill it was time to get to the serious business of carving pumpkins. We started with the kids. They were so excited!
The kids were so great. Emma was not even a little bit interested in getting your hands in the guts but Liam at least gave it a try. We cleared out the guts and both kids marked their pumpkins for carving. Both also assisted in the carving. I think they did an amazing job!

Once we cleaned up after the kids pumpkin carvings we decided to frost some Gluten Free Sugar Cookies my sister made the day before.
Now it was the big kids turn to carve some pumpkins. I must say I am terrible at this. I attempted to make a ghost. I don’t think it looks much like one but oh well.
Stella had to help me… I wasn’t succeeding at my ghost very well.
!BOOM!
